Before installation please soaked the grip in hot water (5 minutes or so) then added a bit of dish soap to the water stirred it around to make sure the inside of the grip had just a little soap on it then worked it on quite easily WITHOUT taking the grip off.

It fits, although it does take some doing to make it go on. We had to remove the grip to install it. A little soapy water helps it glide on. 130lb lady shot 50 rounds at the range with no slipping or snake bites from the safety. Very impressive for such a cheap add on.
