Love these skates! I have had them for a few months and skated on a weekly basis- no roller derby or trick skating- just skating around my neighborhood and paths for some exercise.As with anything- you have to break them in. Get some good socks, they aren't super padded, which you really don't want them to be so they dry quickly and don't get smelly. The material flex's up nicely. The boot is snug around the foot so I feel really supported when I pivot directions. The wheels- are super fast and smooth, much faster than my previous pair- so that took some adjustment.The last pair I purchased was 300.00 and they started to fall apart with a month. I have fallen in these new skates (many times - and if you are a skater- you know getting up really puts pressure on the soles when your foot flexes). The soles are still firmly attached. The laces grip well- I would absolutely order again.
