This is a well made genuine leather phone holster. I use it with my Samsung Note 20 ultra which has a rimmed phone case. I wanted a design that I can retrieve the phone from a sitting position. I did not want a horizontal case which may allow the phone to slip out. Works for me in this specific situation. I have had this for 18 months and it still functions well, other than the normal leather scuffs, which can be corrected with shoe polish products if desired. The snap and belt strap are just like new. I'm hoping that my new Samsung will still fit this same holster when I update my phone.
