After an untold number of scrapes, cuts, and burns my wife insisted I start wearing some type of protection when I cook, which of course, I did (I'm not quite the fool that I appear to be)! I tried several different styles and brands from latex serving gloves to bulky BBQ gloves and none seemed to fit all my needs. The grilling gloves protected my hands but I couldn't do fine tasks with all their bulk. Lighter gloves served well for the fine knife and cooking tasks but didn't offer the protection that I needed. Then I found these babies. They allow me to wear them constantly when cooking or prepping food and the cuts and burns have decreased dramatically.
