I ordered this speed dialer because we've recently switched to AT&T Voice digital phone service, and they don't offer speed dialing.Received it Monday, December 10, 2018, and it works like a charm. Setup is a snap, as is programming the speed dial numbers. When ordering, I wondered if it would interfere with vertical service codes from the phone company such as *69 for Call Return or *70 to cancel Call Waiting, since you use the * plus two, three, or four digits to invoke speed dialing. I'm happy to say that it doesn't. The dialer only reacts if you hit * plus a speed dial position which is programmed. If you're using two-digit entries, you just avoid programming the vertical service codes you actually want to use, and everything works out just fine. Also, the dialer doesn't obscure what's happening on the actual phone line in any way, so if you have a stutter dial tone indicating you have voicemail waiting, you'll still hear it.
