When using to install Fiber Cement siding (5/16), they tended to bend on a regular basis. We switched back to the standard hot dipped galvanized nails and didn't have any more problems. I am sure they have their uses but the metal is not as strong as it needs to be. (We were face nailing so the nails had to penetrate the outer and inner planks, 5/8 in all).
