My boyfriend broke his hand three years ago and lost almost all the strength in his hand. It was very disheartening to lose all the progress he had made in the gym after years of working out. He decided to do something about it and you should too. These bands are difficult at first but that's why he recommends using the light difficulty ones first then moving up periodically with sets of 100 reps. In no time at all I promise you'll be using the heavy difficulty bands to the point you'll want to stack the medium difficulty band over your heavy ones for extra resistance. It worked so well not only did he regain the muscles in his hands but the rest of his arm toned up as well. Also I would like to recommend another product you can find here on amazon. It's called the GD IRON GRIP EXT 90 Hand Grip Exerciser Strengthener Premium Adjustable Hand Gripper as shown in my last photo. Its like these finger bands is an invaluable tool to rebuild your hands like he did. Lastly I recommend wrapping the handles of your grip trainer in grip tape to assist your training. If you like the grip tape he used it's also on amazon. It's called Midas Hook Grip Tape. I have them sitting on my work desk and its very convenient to use when I need to exercise my fingers. I like that they have different levels of resistance. I plan to buy more for Christmas stocking stuffers for the elderly :-) It's a good price!The Price of these vs name brand is just a no brainer. Especially if you’re new the forearm/grip training realm, there’s no reason to grab the “alpha” version of things when these are great to break the ice. Often times this type of training is abandoned due to difficulty so try before ya spend loads!!After Google research for my wrist pain, I felt like it was more a range of motion in my wrist and forearm issue. I use these per instructions while watching tv. I'm only only using green at the moment and that is perfect for me. The doughnut is a perfect stress ball type thing for squeezing and the finger things are perfect for finger extension which reduces my discomfort.Feel this is a great way to strenghten my hands and wrist. My hands are feeling better at the end of the day, when I am exercising it.Very easy to use and I like the fact there are 3 strength levelsI have small hands. Practice a few times a day and slowly it helped get rid of both the pain and start rebuilding the strength in my arm.Can't recommend this enough!Before reading this review, know that I am a normal sized 50 year old man so you have an idea about my overall strength level. First, the 3 donuts. All 3 of them are made WAY too small, made for children hands, almost unusable. The green one has almost no resistance whatsoever, no way it is 30 pounds (I know I have a REAL 30 pounds from another respectable company). The blue one is only a little stiffer but still too soft, 40 pound is a joke, more like 10. The orange one is the only one that is maybe useful and that is if you have really small and weak hands. So, the donuts may be ok for a child or a woman or for someone who is doing rehab work after an injury. Second, the 3 finger stretchers. They are about the same strength/tension level. They are all the same size which is ok. The only difference is the color dye they used for the silicon. I just got those but I am certain, they will break in a few weeks. They are just like big rubbers with holes for the fingers. This hole package is obviously made in China. They used less material the make more for less. Anything for a quick buck. The whole thing is really not worth the 15$ they ask for. Do not waste your money on this kit.UPDATE 2020-03-13 :After only a month of using them 3 times a week, the strongest of the finger stretcher has already broken. It snapped between the thumb and the little finger. These are really subpar quality. Do yourself a favor and do not buy them. Total waste of money !Pieces are well-made and durable. I found them effective for stretching and strengthening muscles involved in trigger finger. It was handy to have varying color-coded grip strengths. I found that by placing different fingers inside or outside of the finger loops (but still within the outside band) there was a wide range of options for stretching specific muscles . The rings took a few tries to target the intended muscles, but once I found the right position in my hand they were very specific and much more effective than gripping a ball. If you're really serious about using exercise to improve your trigger fingers, skip the tennis ball and elastics. Look online for finger, hand and arm exercises that can help you. Don't go straight to injections and surgery. Try these first.These days I’ve been working out at home and I’ve implemented these equipment into my workout on a daily bases and boy do you see a difference . I started with the green one which is the lowest weight and I do about 30-40 reps of each exercise on each hand . My knuckle push ups have improved , my grip , and weaker hand has improved as well . It’s a must haveLately I got sharp pain in my wrists and elbows so did some research what could help besides medication as I dont like to take any unnecessary meds. When I came across this little device I didnt think twice and ordered it. Once it arrived I tried to exercise with it and it definitely will take time to get trough the diferent strengths of the rubber as I had to start with the easiest ones and working out with it is is pretty painful but that was expected and I just hope that over time the pain threshold will get better. Only complain I have is that it is hard to get them on fingers - at least for me.I liked the fact that there was six pieces of varying strengths, and they were very pliable and easy to put on. I use them to strengthen my fingers. Although the Hand Grip Strengthener, Finger Exerciser's, were colour coded, it would have been nice to have the different strengths printed on the packaging.
