I can FINALLY wear my scarves, headbands and headwraps without constantly having to tug at them throughout the day to keep them in place. I can wake up in the morning and my scarf is still on my head and not magically under the bed! LoL I wish they came in a thinner style so I could wear it under my slimmer headbands. I have natural, dense hair, so regardless of the style my hair is in it stretches nicely around, never really being too tight. I chose to remove the little tag that shows the directions, it was weird to look at.I do like these.. they keep a wig on very securely. They do stretch out though. I try to wash them in hot water to try to shrink them back to shape.Very soft and easy to work with. A must have for me when I wear a wig! They do eventually stretch out some, but have found that I can trim off the end a little and that helps it not be so longThe head band works so so. I personally didn't find that the headband kept my wig in place as some of the reviews said it would.First time wig wearer and they really help keep the wig in placeThese are good quality & grip your wig. They are perfect for my 22-1/2” head. Good Velcro also. I purchased 2 colors. Not really stretchy.Order the color closest to the root of your wig. When you put it on, make sure you can feel the nap going towards the back of your head; it should be rough from front to back, otherwise you have it on incorrectly.You can make these as tight or loose as you want. Helps hold a wig in place for hours.Pretty band; pretty package. Bands are soft. Originally I rated them two stars because the wig slipped back on the band. But my daughter told me you have to feel for the nap and place the band so it is rougher towards the back and smoother going forward. They are made for larger heads and I have to pull it pretty tight but it keeps the wig in place.Now I don’t pull my hair out at my forehead with the clips. I bought the nude colour bands, as I have a very fair skin and this was the colour closest to my skin colour (and I have very little hair). I have several lace front and mono top wigs, and I have found that the headband does not show through the wig. One of the problems I have found with lace front wigs is that they can be very scratchy, these headbands cure this problem - and also stop my wigs from riding up at the back. My advice is to buy a headband in a colour close to your scalp colour.These headbandsSomehow, these grips did not hold the wig in place for me. I wore a wig cap underneath, so if you consider all these layers after your scalp : 1. Your own hair (if you're lucky to have some) 2. wig cap (usually a material similar to tights) 3. wig grip band 4. Wig, then you're depending on some degree of 'non-slip' between each layer of man-made material. So I guess it's difficult to prove which layer is at fault. I only know that adding more layers makes it slip more. Maybe I should conduct an experiment and shave my head. Hmmm. I've had madder ideas.I've bean wearing wigs for over 8 years due to pcos and fphl and I've only just heard that these bands exist! I've been using grips daily, which made my wigs slide about and gave me horrible headaches. And so I found these and thought I'd give them a go.Honestly, amazing.Tried it with a new wig while it was really windy, and it stayed put.So so glad I found these bands, absolute game changer
