Usage/Applications: *SRG70 - This is the best handgun gripping material ever made, bar none. It is hybrid material made from grip tape covered with synthetic rubber using a special process. Best for competition, plinking, shooting at the range. Can be used for concealed carry, but not next to bare skin. *RAW 80 Grit ("Sand Paper"/Grit Grip Tape) - Great for competition, plinking, shooting at the range. The grit style texture is not the best choice for concealed carry, because the grit is abrasive to skin and clothing. *Black Textured Rubber - Good for any situation including competition, plinking, shooting at the range, and concealed carry. One might not be very impressed when first taking the grip material out of the package, but after they are applied to the grip of your handgun, their gripping properties will become very evident. Give them a chance and we guarantee that you will not be disappointed. You are not necessarily paying for just material. You are paying for technology and improved functionality and handling!

Our tactical grip enhancements are not actually "sandpaper". They are 80 grit silicon carbide bonded to a thin but very durable, self adhesive peel-and-stick plastic backing. These 80 grit sand paper grips are certainly functional. I have two major issues. The first is not a problem so much as a warning. This product will easily catch on clothing and just about everything else. It is, after all, 80 grit sandpaper. It's for duty use, competition, or home defense. It's not suitable for concealed carry because it grabs onto everything. Thankfully, I got these grips for my duty gun, a rather large XDm 45.The second issue is with the chevrons for the slide serrations. While these chevrons do provide extra traction, they are difficult to install because each piece is separate. Additionally, despite cleaning my gun with degreaser and using the provided alcohol pad, two of the chevrons on the rear slide serrations started to peel off after about 50 rounds of firing at a local indoor range. They do provide 20 chevrons in the set. So if you have an XDM 45 5.25 like me, you won't have any spare chevrons. Prior to purchasing this product I was using the X-Treme Grip textured rubber adhesive grips. The X-Treme Grip product had a single connected piece for each rear slide serration.Also, for the security and LEO folks reading this. If you use a Safariland suede-lined holster, or similar design for duty carry. The slide serration chevrons will scrape out some suede each time you draw. It doesnt impede the draw, but it is annoying to see little lint balls accumulate on your front slide serrations. Due to this fact, I ended up removing the front slide serration chevrons, even though they looked cool. Not a huge issue because I suspect most folks dont use the front slide serrations that frequently and if you do, you can get plenty of traction without the added grip tape. I regard this as a slight design flaw. Those of us to carry in humid environments or expose our guns to sweat do not need tiny slide chevrons that peel off under light use. (I should note that the main grip panel tape is solidly adhered and shows no signs of peeling off.)Enough about the negatives! This grip tape product installs easily and sticks firmly. I feel locked into the pistol when I'm shooting compared to the textured rubber product I had been using before. For those who desire ultimate traction, these grips will suit you well.
