We've already teamed up with Albert Wilde, a 6th generation sheep rancher, to create and operate a wool testing station right here in Utah. Our socks take the job of comfort seriously. From our extensive trial and error we found the best balance of comfort and cushion in a medium terry knit sock floor. The upper foot is knit with a giving and breathable flat stitch. But comfort isn’t enough. We wanted to create comfort that could last for years and years. Commitment to American Jobs The crux of any nation's economy rests on its manufacturing independence. So we do as much as we possibly can ourselves in our shop in Midvale, Utah. Our own Sock Master, Cassidy Keyes, has spent the last year and a half becoming our in-house expert in sock construction and manufacturing. The journey from original concept to this marvel of modern footwear manufacturing was certainly a challenge. Finding the correct blend of wool yarn and working out design kinks took months. But building is what we love to do. Some people do crossword puzzles, GRIP6 solves and perfects the challenges of American manufacturing with the guiding principles of quality, personal responsibility, and service, to bring you the best products on the market. We're obsessed with it. We aren’t very good at crossword puzzles anyway. Wool Sourced in the Rocky Mountains Establishing strong relationships with our ranchers is critical to our process. We strive to own every step of production, creating a vertically integrated, fully American-made company. Many consumers don't know where their products come from, and we want to change that.
